OUR MISSION

The mission of the 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, Inc. is to provide support and improve the quality of life for African Americans, and youth in particular, in the New Orleans Community.

In this statement we affirm that:
1) We will serve as role models for our youth;
2) We will become a self-sufficient and financially independent group that will assist charitable and other worthwhile community causes;
3) We will give our time, talent and resources back to the New Orleans Community;
4) We will provide the leadership to support issues and causes that promote positive change in our community and
5) We will demand and demonstrate excellence in all of our endeavors.

The organization's vision is to become the city's strongest, most self-reliant African-American volunteer organization focused on education, enrichment and empowerment.

 

ABOUT US
 
100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans, Inc. (100) is a coalition of some of New Orleans' most influential men organized to empower New Orleans' challenged communities. Together they channel educational and economic resources toward these communities' students and future leaders.

The majority of the organization's community work is performed through its flagship program, Project Success. Through Project Success, the 100 provides educational support, cultural enrichment and scholarships to carefully selected students from New Orleans Public Schools.

Combining proceeds from some of New Orleans' best known fundraising events, generous donations from its corporate partners, community contributions and the personal resources of the 100's membership, the 100 operates community-based programs that inspire its students and their families to achieve academic and professional excellence.
